- Coil fitting (with Dr)
- Ear syringing
- Weight management
- NHS health checks
- Blood tests
- Removal of stitches
- Childhood immunisations
- Cervical cytology
- Contraceptive advice
- Sexual health checks
- General health promotion
- New patient checks as required
- Primary prevention clinics
- Warfarin testing and dosing within the surgery

Healthcare assistants
Healthcare assistants support the practice nursing team in the delivery of nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team. The healthcare assistants deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.
Nurse associates
Nursing associates work as a vital part of the wider nursing team and this important role helps to bridge care between healthcare support workers and registered nurses.
